What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a discipline that treats and prevents disorders of the muscular and skeletal systems. Chiropractors focus on correcting misalignments of the spinal column as a means of restoring the body’s natural neuromuscular balance and harmony. A properly aligned spine allows the other major systems of the body to function in equilibrium.

Accidents, injuries and sometimes even the the normal stresses of every day living can push or pull vertebrae out of alignment. When vertebrae are not correctly aligned, nerves become impinged causing muscle spasms and pain that may radiate to other areas of the body. This disturbance in our natural equilibrium also may cause our immune systems to be more vulnerable to illness and disease.

Chiropractic adjustments enhance and facilitate the body’s healing response, aiding in recovery from illnesses, injuries and exercise.

Chiropractic care may also extend to other of the body where joints and connective tissue may need adjustment.
